Our Days
In addition to stories from the Bible and our religion curriculum we focus on...
ELA & Fine Motor
Reading and Language Arts is where we develop fine motor skills needed to write and cut. We also learn about the sight, sounds and formation of the letters as well as comprehending and discussing our stories.
Math
We learn many pre-math skills that will help our brains develop and that will help us in Kindergarten and beyond. Concepts such as shapes, graphs, patterns, sizes, counting, sorting, measuring, coins and time are covered.
Science
We use every opportunity to explore why and how. We perform science experiments, we explore science concepts such as magnetism, animal habitats, senses, the human body and space.
Social Studies
We discuss many topics during our story and religion times that focus on good citizenship as well as learning about our community, the importance of kindness and friendship as well as teamwork
